Lois and Sherwin Goodblatt

Career-long health care delivery professionals Lois and Sherwin Goodblatt are passionate about helping BIDMC continue to grow its reputation as a national leader in cardiovascular medicine. The couple bequeathed a $1 million gift to facilitate transformational infrastructure upgrades in cardiac catheterization, which will perpetuate the extraordinary patient care, teaching, and research for which BIDMC is known.

“Lois and I both believe the best thing to do for mankind is to help others,” said Sherwin. “We wanted to effect change in a meaningful and impactful way and improve access to the latest and best equipment available for more patients.”
